I flew from LA to SF on Leap day 2/29 and spent the day running errands before the long journey. Aaron and Ting hosted me in their home for the night and offered me emotional support while I talked to my little Alba on the webcam to let her know that mommy was going to be away for some time. Daddy was a great helper too.
Me fui de Los Angeles a San Francisco el 29 de febrero y pase el dia preparandome para el viaje. Me quede en casa de mis amigos Aaron y Ting esa noche, los cuales me apoyaron emocionalmente para la dura despedida de mi pequena Alba. Noe tambien me ayudo mucho con eso.
Judith and I took a very early flight on Air Canada on March 1st. Aaron (Judith's boyfriend) gave us a ride. It was scheduled for 8am and we arrived at SFO at 6am. Luckily there were no delays and we arrived at Vancouver in two hours. Vancouver has the most beautiful well-cared for airport ever! We windowshopped at their expensive duty free stores and ate a snack before embarking on the 14 hour flight to Beijing. It went by quicker than we thought with good company, large selection of movies, stretching breaks and some very much needed naps.
Judith y yo nos fuimos en un vuelo con Air Canada el 1 de marzo. Aaron (el novio de Judith) nos llevo al aeropuerto. El vuelo salia a las 8am y llegamos al aeropuerto a las 6am. Afortunadamente no hubo retrasos y al cabo de las dos horas llegamos a Vancouver, que tiene una aeropuerto alucinante! Nos paseamos por las tiendas duty free y comimos algo antes de subir al avion y pasar 14 horas ahi sentadas! La verdad que se paso rapido, entre la charla, las peliculas, caminando en los pasillo estirando las patillas, y bueno, tambien dormimos un poco.
