Summer palace is Northwest of Beijing. It was a royal garden to elude the summer heat of the forbidden city. It is gicantic and it has a beautiful lake in the middle that was man-made. In the summer you can rent boats but the water was too shallow now for us to do that. Noe and I had been there when we came to Beijing while I was pregnant. I missed him so much when we were there!
El palacio de verano esta en la zona noroeste de Pekin. Era el jardin royal para que el emperador pasase los veranos alejado del calor infernal de la ciudad prohibida. Es gigantesco y tiene un lago precioso en el medio del palacio, el fue creado artificialmente. En el verano se pueden alquilar barcas pero ahora hay demasiada poca agua. Noe y yo fuimos con mi tia cuando vinimos hace tres anos cuando estaba embarazada. Lo eche mucho de menos cuando estabamos alli!!
